Current Projects

Project List
  1. Led Zeppelin baby mobile (commissioned by a close friend for her first (?) grandchild)
    1. Check out this project here.
  2. Boxes for my etsy sales (Gotta love "Bags, Tags, Boxes, and more for the Cricut)
  3. Soaps for the aunts (Christmas is coming fast, and I have a lot of aunts)
    1. I moved away from soaps and am doing the COOLEST coasters!
  4. Halloween foam house (Again... gotta love the Cricut... I should attempt to cut the foam with it. Any hints out there?)
    1. This got completed and it turned out really cool. I'll post pictures, but dang it for not doing a tutorial! It certainly wasn't easy!
  5. Completing the organization of the house of crafts
    1. This may never happen. Recently my MIL gave me a whole TON of additional embroidery floss, but it included her storage method. With the combination of what I was doing, and what she had, I've got a GREAT method for storing my skeins upon skeins upon skeins... upon skeins of floss!
  6. Make a gingerbread man scarf (I was hoping to do a set of them for Christmas gifts... not sure that'll happen)
    1. I made cookies and toast. Maybe I'll pick this one up again soon!
  7. Make a set of felt toys (I was also hoping to do this for Christmas as well... again... not sure that'll happen)... OMG I finished a camping set. I'll blog it soon!!
  8. A barbie carrying case (In process... way harder than I imagined!)
    1. In looking at this one again, I'm thinking of some other great ideas. I've learned so much in the last year about fabric, interfacing, and sewing. I think this one could be fun to pick up again.
  9. Decoupage light covers for the kitchen. In process. They look TOO CUTE!
    1. These are DONE!
  10. Curtains for the kitchen.
  11. Barbie dollhouse, courtesy of Southern Disposition
  12. Some kind of Spice Rack. Preferably magnetic.
    1. This is finished, and it's pretty hot! Unfortunately, it isn't one that would be feasible for anyone else unless they had the frame, but it could give some great inspiration.
  13. More felt play sets. The one I made was a hit, and it was a lot of fun to make.
  14. I just got a request for a mock up of a pomander ball. This has to move to the top of the list. I think I'll do a tutorial for that, especially since we're coming up to wedding time.
    1. This has been on my list for a long time. I'm currently working on a multipage tutorial with hints, tips, and all kinds of options for pomanders. It will end up on etsy, with maybe a special promotion for anyone who got there from here. ;-)
  15. The most ADORABLE Montessori quiet book and map of the world. Pattern from http://www.imagineourlife.com/2013/07/26/animals-of-north-america-for-the-montessori-wall-map-quietbook-with-printables/ - You've got to check this lady out! Her patterns are impeccable and her stitching is AMAZING. I've got a good handle on some hand sewing, but hers puts mine to shame!
    1. September update: Oh my goodness, this is so much fun! It's been a hard project, but it's so worth it. I'm currently sewing on the continents to the world map, and I'm extremely thankful that the patterns for the animals have been stalled by the pattern creator for her child's Halloween costume!
  16. Hang Tags
    1. I'm trying to prep for a garage sale, and in the process have found a ton of clothing that I'd like to make sure get marked. I'm creating some hang tags for garage sales and personal closet organization. I'll probably put a freebie here and add the rest to my etsy shop because, let me tell you, they're hard work!
